For those individuals who are suffering with fibromyalgia, there is now a clinical treatment offering hope. IV therapy for fibromyalgia, known as a Myers Cocktail, is now being offered at National Pain Institute.

The treatment is extremely safe and is offered as an outpatient at their pain clinics in Florida, of which there are seven. Multiple research studies in alternative medical journals have shown the treatment to be effective at treating fibromyalgia. The studies to date have been pilot studies, meaning that the numbers overall were small. However, the results were impressive. One study showed a 60% reduction in pain and an 80% decrease in fatigue in fibromyalgia patients.

National Pain Institute treats fibromyalgia in a comprehensive fashion with medication management, interventional pain treatments when indicated, and the Fibromyalgia IV therapy treatment with the Myers Cocktail.

There are seven clinics around the state and each of them takes over 100 health insurance plans. There are three main  Orlando pain clinic locations, a Port St. Lucie pain management clinic, a Palm Beach County pain clinic in Delray Beach, one in Central Florida near Ocala, and another in New Port Richey north of Clearwater and Tampa.
